"FSP webinars have tremendous value for financial professionals. There is a wide array of interesting topics to choose from, and the ability to assemble a group of individuals lets you extend and amplify the value of the program. When supporting material is provided, such as articles, web sites, etc., attendees can continue the dialogue when the program ends."

Lunch/Brunch Conversations

About Lunch/Brunch Conversations

Lunch/Brunch Conversations are free (normal phone charges apply) Members Only events.

A Lunch/Brunch Conversation is an open discussion among participants and a main speaker; it is not a formal presentation. FSP members who would like to participate in the event register to either "Talk & Listen" or to "Listen Only."

If you register to "talk and listen"… you can voice an opinion about the topic in discussion, ask a question, offer an observation, or just listen. Your active participation in the call is a way to tailor the event to your needs, and we encourage you to join in freely.

If you register to "listen only"…you will not be able to enter the conversation but only listen to what others are saying.

Lunch/Brunch Conversations are scheduled whenever issues arise that impact practitioners and their clients. Each one lasts approximately 45 minutes, from (typically) 1:00-1:45 pm Eastern Time and focuses on a specific Professional Interest Section.

When you register, you will receive an email with the phone number to call and an access code that allows you to participate in the event.

Wednesday, 04/24/14 - 1:00 p.m. ET

As we continue to fine tune our reach to diversified professionals, we are looking to focus in on those who we are calling "New In The Profession."  Specifically, we want to hear from anyone who has been in financial services no more than 14 or 15 years.  If you would like to participate in guiding us then consider attending an introductory Lunch/Brunch Conversation on Thursday, April 24th, beginning at 1:00 pm eastern daylight time.  This conversation is open to all members with 15 years or less in the profession.  It should last no longer that one hour, it will be  interactive, and we are looking for educational and professional development offering suggestions from you!

This session will be hosted by Marshall Lipson CLU, Managing Director Professional Development
